Creative Writing Course - Online

Our online Creative Writing Course will give you the skills you need to write a novel, short stories or creative non-fiction – biography or memoir.

How: You’ll work privately with the facilitators via email with a monthly Writer’s Circle session via Zoom

Our Creative Writing Course is designed to provide you with the skills, tools and inspiration every writer needs to tell their own story. It’s ideal for aspiring writers eager to start on their journey, and established writers looking to refresh and hone their skills.

Creative Writing Course overview:

• The course is designed to be completed in three months.
• We’ll release a new module in two parts every week via email.
• The first part includes practical just for you exercises.
• Each module ends in an assignment, to which we recommend you complete in no more than thirty minutes.
• You will receive personal constructive feedback and support from Richard or Jo-Anne on every assignment.
• It should take between two to four hours to complete each week’s work.
• Included in the programme are three Writers' Circle live Zoom sessions where you can interact with Jo-Anne and Richard and members of our writing community.
• You’ll walk away with our writer’s manual, jam packed with extensive notes,  to refer to on all your future writing projects.

Course outline:

Each of the modules tackles a key skill and challenges participants with carefully crafted writing exercises and assignments.
